<div dir="ltr">Dear Quantum MS students,<div><br></div><div>The first class for the lab PHYS 5081 will be held tomorrow at 1:10 pm. We will meet on the 6th floor of Pupin Hall. On the first day, we will go over experiments in the lab, and then have some lab tours of experimental quantum labs in physics.</div><div><br></div><div>Some of you have written to me about possible conflicts with this class. Unfortunately the only two possible days that this lab can be held are Monday and Tuesday (the labs are in use other days of the week). After consulting with your schedules, Tuesday was chosen as the day with fewer conflicts. Please note that the class will not be offered in the spring, and that it is a required class for the program. I'm happy to discuss if there are ways to allow you to attend other classes on Tuesdays, but let us do this in person tomorrow. I notice that only some of you are registered for the class on courseworks - please do so at the earliest.</div><div><br></div><div>Best wishes,</div><div>Abhay.</div><div><br></div><div><br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">---<div>Abhay Pasupathy (301-655-4167)</div><div>Professor, Physics Scientist, CMPMSD </div><div>1305 Pupin Hall Building 734</div><div>Columbia University Brookhaven National Lab</div><div>New York NY 10027 Upton NY 11973</div><div><br></div></div></div></div></div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Tue, Sep 3, 2024 at 12:22 PM Abhay Narayan Pasupathy <<a href="mailto:apn2108@columbia.edu">apn2108@columbia.edu</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left-width:1px;border-left-style:solid;border-left-color:rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Dear Quantum MS students,<div><br></div><div>The lab class on quantum physics experiments starts next week (most likely on Tuesday).
