[Quantum-ms] Welcome to the Fall Semester

Hello everyone,

I would like to welcome both new and returning students to the fall semester in the Electrical Engineering Department. 

Last week, we had a great orientation for the new graduate students in the Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Quantum Science and Technology programs, and it was terrific to meet so many people from around the country and around the world. 

For everyone, I just wanted to share a few thoughts:
Do take advantage of the "shopping period" in the first week of class - except for a few oversubscribed classes that have restricted waiting lists you can add or drop most classes the first few days without any complexity - don't be shy to attend the first lecture of a class just to check it out.
Don't hesitate to reach out to the amazing student support staff in the department (Elsa Sanchez, Jacqueline Huang, Cassandra Kokofu) if you have any questions/things to discuss - they are here for you!
