Are you interested in outreach?

Want to show middle school girls how exciting STEM can be?

*Girls' Science Day is back and looking for volunteers!*

Girls' Science Day is one of the largest science outreach events at
Columbia. Every semester, approximately 150 middle school girls come to
campus and we conduct fun STEM-related experiments with them. To pull this
off, we need volunteers to help us chaperone the girls, design and lead
experiments, organize logistics, and much more. This is a great opportunity
for you to gain experience in outreach, meet new people, and work with
young students who are excited about science!

Girls' Science Day Fall 2024 will take place on *Saturday, April 5th*.

The forms to sign up as a volunteer for Girls' Science Day are live and
will close on *Tuesday, March 4th!* Please sign up using the links below:

[You are required to fill out the Volunteer Form to be included in this
event as a volunteer. The Experiment Form is for those who have an idea for
an experiment they want to conduct as an Experiment Leader - this is not
required to fill out.]

*Note: Volunteer positions are open to Research Associates, Graduate
students, and Post-docs of all genders! If you know someone that has a fun
experiment idea or might be interested in volunteering, please pass this
along to them! Attending an Info Session is not required to volunteer.*
